William Alton Director of Architecture Jodi has played an integral role in many architectural and interior design projects for The Hettema Group since 2009, including Dragons Wild Shooting at Lotte World, the Malaysia Truly Asia Center, the High Roller Observation Wheel in Las Vegas, DreamWorks Water Park, Meadowlands, and was Lead Architectural Designer for the One World Observatory experience at the World Trade Center in New York City. She is currently in charge of the architectural design for a major theme park in Asia. Jodi was Director of Design at Scenery West Design & Construction, creating turnkey projects involving multiple disciplines, specialty consultants, architectural facility interface, and show integration. She was responsible for projects including Sony’s Where the Wild Things Are attraction in Japan, Sea World’s Cirque de la Mer show in San Diego, Fort Worth Zoo’s Texas Wild! eight-acre expansion, five GameWorks entertainment centers throughout the U.S., and Oakley flagship stores. As Senior Associate at JKI International Architectural & Planning, Jodi executed multiple design/build projects domestically as well as interior entertainment facilities and attractions internationally. Jodi was also a consultant to Walt Disney Imagineering, assisting with exteriors and interiors for Disney’s California Adventure. Upon graduation, he worked for a nonprofit that specialized in mixed-use projects specifically in Southern California, helping lead teams to numerous winning competitions for master plans and redevelopments. William Alton Associate Art Director Janai is a multi-disciplined creative talent. Skilled ranging from show set design and CAD drafting for attractions to concept developments and art direction. Alongside her accomplished digital and physical artistic competences, her wide ranging abilities can be applied to many facets of  the industry. She has previously spent productive terms with Walt Disney Studios, Thinkwell and Universal Pictures. As an associate designer for The Walt Disney Studios Special Events, Janai played a fundamental role in contributing to an impressive list of projects including movie ‘world premier’ events for; Captain America Civil War, Jungle Book 2016, Zootopia and The Good Dinosaur. She also designed the excellent Star Wars Exhibit featured in the prestigious El Capitan Theatre Hollywood. Delivering creative content for the attractions industry Janai has provided CAD imagery, 3D modelling and detailed set design on ride attractions worldwide for high profile clients including Universal Studios. In a wider role within the entertainment industry Janai is proficient in set construction, prop and model building. She has had the privilege of working on numerous theatre and entertainment productions for artists such as Rod Stewart, Helen Hunt and Mikhail Baryshnikov. William Alton Show Set Project Manager Jessica serves as the interface between the Creative and Architecture departments to develop, coordinate, and deliver all architectural /experience show packages. She manages and provide document control for all digital assets for the Architecture department as well as providing 2D and 3D digital drawing support for Architecture team. Prior to THG, Jessica spent 15 years in the home remodeling industry, gaining diverse experience in construction and project management. She graduated valedictorian with a degree in set and exhibit design before crossing over into the themed entertainment world. William Alton Show Set/Facility Monica utilizes her background in interior design to design and document immersive projects for the themed entertainment industry. Her work includes concept development, graphic design, modeling, rendering, and production documentation for hotels, theme park attractions, live entertainment, the space industry, and beyond in all phases of design. Though early in her career, Monica is a passionate proponent of story-based placemaking and making dreams a reality. Monica received her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Baylor University and worked professionally in hospitality design. She also earned a Master of Fine Arts from SCAD in Themed Entertainment Design, beginning her transition into the themed entertainment world. In her free time, she is an active member of the Themed Entertainment Association and volunteers at various events to help mentor the next generation of designers. William Alton Associate Art Director Having spent over a decade in Los Angeles, Samantha has experience working in multiple aspects of the entertainment industry, including having worked on an extensive number of dark ride attractions located all over the world. Highly skilled in many software programs ranging from the likes of Photoshop and Lumion to AutoCAD and Rhino, she has worked for distinguished companies such as Universal Studios Japan and Thinkwell Group, now bringing her talents to THG. Samantha has led and collaborated with teams of varying sizes, with highlights of her experience including Show Set work on the 2022 Thea award winning The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Lease attraction, and the Universal Spectacle Night Parade -The Best of Hollywood at Universal Studios Japan, as well as creating 3D visualizations for the new Dodger Stadium Centerfield expansion.  Most recently at THG, Samantha has been Art Directing for an upcoming attraction opening in 2025.
