Chris Duarte

Technical Manager

Chris combines his experience in architectural engineering and construction, as well as park and attraction design, in his role as a Technical Manager at THG. Chris began his venture into the amusement industry operating rollercoasters at Cedar Point and interning at the Tech Services & Engineering department at the Universal Orlando Resort. Following his graduation from Penn State with a B.A.E. in Architectural Engineering, he moved to Los Angeles to work at Thinkwell Group where he learned creative processes and client interfacing skills he continues to utilize. Chris then managed project design and construction for Palace Entertainment, designing and building several attractions while collaborating with national brands such as MATTEL and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chris returned to his engineering roots to learn AVCL system design with On Track Themes upgrading exhibits at The Hershey Museum. Since joining THG, Chris spent many months on-site managing the construction of the new Freedom Theater at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans and continues to support ride and exhibit designs for all types of experiences.
