As a Marketing Intern, you will support the development and execution of marketing initiatives that showcase the innovation, storytelling, and immersive experiences behind our world-class design and production work. This role offers hands-on experience in the themed entertainment industry, providing opportunities to contribute to content creation, brand storytelling, event planning, and marketing asset development. You will work closely with the Marketing team and cross-functional collaborators to help shape how THG presents its creative work to the world.
Responsibilities:
Marketing support:
- Assist with the creation and coordination of content across various channels, including the website, social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with our in-house graphic design team by requesting assets, tracking progress, and coordinating timely delivery of visual content.
- Research and draft compelling copy for project case studies, blog posts, press releases, and internal materials.
- Organize and update the portfolio archive and marketing asset library.
- Support the development of presentation decks, award submissions, and branded marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and report on industry trends, news, and opportunities for events.
- Contribute to the planning and logistics of photo shoots, industry trade shows, and marketing activations.
- Assist with the production of event materials and provide onsite support for trade shows and industry conferences such as IAAPA.
- Help build and refine THG marketing assets, including introductory decks, templates, qualification packets, and promotional materials.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
Experience:
- Experience in event planning, media relations, and social media strategy is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with attention to voice and tone.
- Interest in storytelling, branding, and the themed entertainment industry.
- Familiarity with key social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and/or Canva is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Passion for theme parks, museums, immersive spaces, or experiential design is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
